Let's Play! Learn! Coach! All ages and levels welcome!

Whether you are new to chess, brushing up on your skills, or a master player, we invite you to come by the store on any Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM to play chess with our resident “chess geek” Virginia Benedict. A long-time Ossining resident, Virginia not only loves to play the game, but she’s an experienced chess coach for all ages and levels of playing. She is a moderator at "Chess Teachers and Learners" on Facebook and runs two chats within the group under the headings of “Gambits" and "Calculation & Visualization."

These sessions are free of charge, and chess sets are provided. We look forward to seeing you in the store!
